Vin de Pays d'Oc - Prestige Rouge

Vin de Pays d'Oc - Prestige rouge

Prestige Red 2006

Soil:
The memories of this unique region & soil are kept alive by the gentle cultivation methods used for these calcareous-clay, lagoonal soils with a saline tendency.

Grape Varieties:
A blend of Cabernet-Sauvignon, barrel-matured Syrah, traditionally-matured Syrah, long fermentation Carignan and Grenache.

Vinification:
Mechanical harvest. Traditional vinification methods in vats with careful temperature control allowing us to protect the traditional natural fruit flavors of these grape varieties while obtaining the best color. The wine is partially matured in vats and partially matured in barrels.

Tasting:
The blackberries and red fruit with lightly cooked tastes blend well into the silky and delicate tannins enveloped by the woody hints of coffee and chocolate.

Serving Suggestions:
The wine's structure, simple flavors and the finesse of its tannins make it a good starter wine for new consumers. It will go well with barbecued meat and coq au vin (wine-roasted chicken), fruit pies or chocolate desserts.

Bottle: Bordeaux elegance 75 cl
Box: 6 bottles lying on their sides
Palette: 600 bottles
